ESG Analytics provides the most accurate, timely and actionable ESG insights in the market today. Leveraging a unique AI methodology we identify company and industry risks and trends that have a wide variety of applications across financial and compliance risk.

This is done for companies globally, with data going back to 2017 with over 100,000 sources processed daily.

In contrast to traditional providers who generally have a 3-6 month lag on ESG scoring, low coverage and analyst biases - ESG Analytics provides daily data, on large set of companies (with more available by request) with a transparent AI method.

The ESG Analytics engine is processed daily with the following components:

• Entity Extraction: 

  We process over 100k sources of news, media and opinion data and use our proprietary company knowledge graph to  understand aliases, tickers, common names and other elements of text that make up a 'company'.

• Sentence Level ESG Categorization: 

  Once we confirm the entities involves, our ESG categorization engine breaks down which text is ESG relevant, with a granularity of 26 different topics. This is done at a sentence level, in contrast to many firms which do it at an article level, which results in mis classification

• ESG Sentiment: 

  Our in house trained ESG sentiment model, then scores each sentence found on a score of -1 (bad) to + 1 (good). We aggregate these scores across the day and topics to provide an overall 'ESG Pulse'
